Three of our very own Year 12 students hailed as heroes!
On route to school on Friday 11th March 2016, Veronica Khem, Cindy Nguyen-Tran and Justin E saw a plume of smoke from a burning house. They immediately thought to stop and investigate.
They used their initiative to not only call for emergency services, they also put themselves in a dangerous situation and entered the property where they could hear the voice of an elderly man. The 80 year old resident was helped out solely because of Veronica, Cindy and Justin's quick thinking and courageous efforts.
Principal, Mr Peter Rouse was unsure as to praise them or scold them for risking their lives. "I'm just glad they are safe, and the gentleman they rescued is safe".
