Thursday 21 February 2019, at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, International Students were recognised for their contribution to NSW Schools.
It is with great excitement Henry Hua was nominiated and the winner of the School Service Award. Henry has been an amazing asset to the school, his fellow internatinal students and the community. Henry was a prodigious fundraiser for charities such as White Ribbon Day and World’s Greatest Shave and was actively involved in volunteering for Butterfly Badge Week for deaf awareness, and Kindness Week for mental health awareness. He also worked with, and supported the other international students.
The award and a $1000 was presented to Henry by Chloe Read, Executive Director, Learning and Business Systems, DE International.
Henry is due to commence his Bachelors in Construction Managament at University of Western Sydney.
We would also like to congratulate Linh Thien Nguyen who was a nominee for the Academic Achievement Award. Linh is enrolled at the University of Western Sydney in Advanced Nursing.
We wish both Henry and Linh all the very best for their futrue studies.
