Women in engineering camp at University of New South Wales

Year 12 students, Mackenzie Min, Joanna Gunawan and Jiayi Liang, recently attended the 2018 University of New South Wales (UNSW) women in engineering camp.

During the week, they learnt about many of the different fields of engineering, going on-site tours at Sydney trains, HMAS Waterhen, IAG and Tooheys, and taking part in workshops where they designed a biomedical hand and a solar-powered racing car. They also completed a week-long team project devising a solution to a challenge in transport, water, health or energy somewhere in the world.

Well done girls and we hope you had such an amazing week that you are inspired to pursue a rewarding career in engineering.
